Cherry LAN Systems, Inc. is a software development firm committed to providing top quality document management software to our customers. We began in 1992 by developing document imaging and indexing solutions for land records management. Since then, we have developed numerous document management solutions for many government offices, including county-wide solutions. Along the way, we developed a particularly powerful and flexible application that can be used to great effect in virtually any public- or private-sector office: The Filer.
What is The Filer?
The Filer is an electronic document management system that allows unlimited numbers of files of any kind to be attached to a search index for fast, easy retrieval on demand. Far more than an ‘virtual filing cabinet’, The Filer features advanced search and lookup capabilities, workflow, multi-level security, plus many other functions such as the ability to convert documents to PDF format, e-mail or fax documents on the fly. In fact, some of our customers have used The Filer to take their offices completely paperless.
Who Can Use The Filer?
The Filer is highly adaptable and can be used by virtually any business or government entity. When utilized to full effect, The Filer can make almost any office paperless or nearly paperless, generating enormous cost savings and freeing up tremendous amounts of storage space and time spent searching for files. The Filer can even be integrated with an office’s existing software, providing an even greater level of convenience and savings.
Who Are We Seeking?
Cherry LAN Systems wishes to market The Filer throughout the USA. To this end, we are seeking a limited number of highly motivated independent sales representatives to sell and support The Filer (VARs). VAR representatives will have the opportunity to earn generous sales commissions as well as considerable residual income by providing first-tier technical support. Successful VAR candidates will demonstrate:
- A minimum of 5 years experience in direct sales, preferably computer-related
- The ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
- A general knowledge of computer hardware and software solutions
- Skills necessary to install The Filer and train the customer in its proper use
