- Cherry LAND System
This is a very mature system with a proven track record. For years, the Cherry LAND System has provided user-friendly land records indexing and retrieval process in counties throughout Michigan, Wisconsin, and Indiana. - POSSE
This powerful, easy to use software is a very flexible point of sale system. POSSE allows offices to define unlimited numbers of accounts and transaction codes, and can be configured to automatically process and distribute even very complex fees, eliminating post-transaction bookwork. - Cherry LANDImage
The Cherry LANDImage was specifically developed for county governments, to provide document imaging to all county offices. This system easily integrates with other applications running on the county’s Windows, Novell and/or IBM AS/400 Networks, creating a total image solution. - LAND Web
LAND Web allows the search of indexed land record documents from anywhere without the customer having to come into the county office; saving time and money. Current LAND Web users have noted that their phone inquiries have gone down significantly, allowing the staff more time to process the incoming workload. - The FILER (optional)
The Filer is a flexible, comprehensive electronic document management system that provides the ability to store any document, video or photo on the computer in one centralized location.
Cherry LAND System
This system provides all of the features and functions required to efficiently index and retrieve document information in the Register of Deeds office.
Features
- Includes an intuitive visual Land Corners survey search and index function.
- Infinite number of names, property descriptions, comments etc. per document recorded.
- Multiple levels of security allows the Register to control access to the information and whether or not each user has search only, update or print authorities.
- Search or print reports by name, document number, book and page, document type, recording date, platted or unplatted legal description, or parcel number.
- This system provides county offices on-line access to the land record indexes recorded within the Register of Deeds Office using the LAND Web system.
- Fully integrated with the Cherry LANDImage System.
- Both 32-bit Windows and IBM AS/400 versions of this system are available.
POSSE
POSSE provides a complete audit trail with a wide variety of predefined and user-defined custom reports.
Features
- Receipts are printed via fast thermal or inkjet receipt printer; the inkjet model also enables check stamping.
- Transactions may include any number of items and payments, including mixed payment methods.
- Reports can be run across any time frame, and can be comprehensive or include just a single workstation or user.
- Produces State of Michigan Transfer Tax stamps and maintains stamp log
- Automatically prints liber/page & barcodes for batch-scanning documents
- Automatically prints (optionally sealed) timestamps
- Fully integrated with Cherry LAND and Cherry LANDImage systems
- POSSE runs on Windows 2000/XP workstations as part of Windows or Novell networks.
Cherry LANDImage
The LANDImage allows the user to scan using barcodes generated by the POSSE System or manually by document number. The system can predict the next number by page count or incremental document number.
Features
- Quickly and easily locate, display, print, e-mail, or fax images from your desktop.
- Reporting tool for cross checking the scanned documents against indexed documents.
- Documents can be filtered by document number, recording date, party name, date scanned and government unit for in house auditing and distribution.
- Distributed and printed documents can be watermarked for security purposes.
- Images can be cropped, inverted and resized if necessary; used for old film and book conversions.
- A wide variety of view functions are available including pan, scroll, rotate, invert, zoom, and more.
- Built in Social Security number redaction both manually and automatic with OCR.
- Redaction process reporting is also available for auditing purposes. Documents can be viewed or printed without redactions by authorized personnel.
- Document images converted through third parties from film and books can be easily uploaded into the system.
- EZDocScan and document staple tools are included which allows the user to scan and process historical documents efficiently. (i. e. from film, books and paper)
- Zoom print feature allows users to zoom into an area of interest and print that selected area; this is widely used for plat maps and surveys.
- Print control allows office staff to track documents printed by the public. This allows for easy checkout and receipting at the counter. An ongoing log of public users printing history can be kept for billing and auditing.
- The name/or workstation of the person printing can also be printed in the upper left hand corner for sorting out documents on a public printer.
- All images within this system are fully secured via several layers of security, e.g. User ID, Password; Device Name or Device Location.
LAND Web
LANDWeb is an internet based search of the counties indexed land records information.
Features
- The system allows for general public searches. With or without the option to purchase
images with credit cards. - A premium subscription service is available where documents can be previewed and then purchased by page.
- All premium transactions are logged for audit tracking and billing.
- All documents are received as Adobe PDF files for easy viewing over the web.
- The LANDweb also has integrated security measures for locking premium account services in case of multiple users logging in or account deficit.
- Searching can be performed by Name, Document number, Legal description and parcel code. Added filtering can be included by Date, Document and name.
- Documents available for viewing are managed at the office level. This allows the office time to proof documents before making them public.
The Filer
Is an optional system that can be used to help reduce the paperwork associated with your day to day activities. It can be used to scan in often used manuals, forms or notices for easy retrieval directly from your desktop. Please take a moment to look at all The Filer has to offer.
