    The Vital Records Indexer was developed to provide a simple, easy to use indexing solution within the County Clerk’s Office. It creates state approved licenses, affidavits and permits and can fill in pre-printed state forms.
  • CherryLAN Image
    The CherryLAN Image System provides a wide variety of view functions (pan, scroll, rotate, invert, zoom and more) and can also display thumbnail images. Special programs are included for county government allowing for automatic document certification, batch scanning, bar-coding documents, OCR and more.

Easy to learn and intuitive to use, Vital Records Indexer generates a wide variety of forms including:

  1. It allows the customization of all letters, forms and certificates with MS Word templates and mail merge abilities.
  2. It provides a comprehensive master name index that lists a person’s appearance on all records from any section of the Vital Records database.
  3. Vital Records Indexer offers the option to choose which fields appear on your screen eliminating the need to tab through empty unused fields.
  4. Scan and save hardcopy with three easy keystrokes; view and print scanned documents with the touch of a button.
  5. The Vital Records Indexer is fully integrated with the CherryLAN Image System.

CherryLAN Image
CherryLAN Image integrates with Vital Records Indexer to supply an easy to use document management system.
Features

  1. Certificate overlay can be configured for Birth, Death and Marriage records, which allows printing of original scanned documents with certification information for your individual county.
  2. These certificates can be printed directly to safety paper eliminating the need for copier or pre-printed safety paper.
  3. There is Social Security number redaction tool, commonly used with Death Certificates but, works for any document.
  4. Documents can be manipulated to shrink for small envelopes which are commonly used for Birth certificates.
  5. Cherry LAN has written conversion tools to import documents converted by third parties from film, books and paper. We also have the tools you need to do your own back file conversions.
