This product enables county offices to define document cabinets (e.g. Commissioner Minutes, Agendas, etc.), then store Microsoft Word, Word Perfect or text files within the cabinets. As each document is stored, its full text is automatically cross-referenced and indexed for fast retrieval. |

User security is cabinet-specific. For example, a particular user could be granted full authority to one document cabinet, view-only authority to another, and none whatsoever to a third. This provides offices a secure means to share access to certain documents between departments if desired. |

| Keyword Indexing therefore requires virtually no work on the part of the end user. Simply select the desired document and hit "Index Document" - all indexing operations are performed automatically!

|
|
Document lookup is fast and easy. Simply select a document cabinet, type in one or more search words, hit "Find Matching Documents", and a list of documents matching your search criteria will be displayed immediately. Double-clicking on any displayed document will open a copy of it within Microsoft Word.
PCs running Keyword Indexing must have Windows (98 or greater) and Microsoft Word. This product can be configured to run on Windows or Novell networks.
